  What an incredibly cool, unique, memorable experience!!! I am so happy that we stayed at the wikkelboats in Den Bosch... what a treat!! I actually booked this place by accident, as I intended to book accommodation in Rotterdam... but what a great surprise!!! We totally loved this cool area in Den Bosch, with a view of the amazing silos, chilling at the river, watching friendly ducks pass by... and the cherry on the top is definitely the jacuzzi with a view of the river, but at the same time with all the privacy, as it is built into the terrace... an ingenious concept!! 😍 We very much enjoyed meeting the kind gentleman who takes care of everything. Thank you so much for this very special stay!!

  Lovely tiny boathouse, located on walking distance to the city center of Den Bosch and to the central train station. Highly recommended!! Great experience in case you never stayed in a boathouse/tiny house before. Communication with host is super easy and efficient. You can easily stay here with 4 persons and 6 (2x single beds) as well although i think the house is too tiny. The jacuzzi outside is amazing, and gives privacy as well. Coffee cups and tea are available. Microwave and dishwasher are there. Kitchen is complete with everything you need. Temperature in the house is nice and comfortable. We ordered dinner which was delivered. Unfortunately not very friendly for wheelchairs, small and no option to use the bathroom.

  Cycling holiday came to an abrupt end when my locked bike was stolen from the rear deck of the wikkelboat. We had been assured that it was safe for bikes. The bike was secured to a solid post on the wikkelboat so I guess the thieves must have cut the lock. Our other bikes were secured to the same posts with very heavy high security locks and were not stolen. To be fair to wikkelboats they did supply the attached photo. We also needed help reporting the theft to the police via the web which has to be done by a Dutch person. Wikkelboats did eventually help with this but it did take a lot of time and persuasion. The accommodation is very good, the aircon is excellent and easily coped with 30 degrees C outside temperatures
